Last day for Holiday Orders is Dec 8th. I recommend choosing Priority Shipping to ensure that your items is delivered by Dec 23rd. This is a very busy time for USPS and it may cause some delays with delivery.

EACH PIECE IS HANDMADE SO PLEASE ALLOW 5-10 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE YOUR ITEMS ARE SHIPPED. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number when your order has shipped. Please keep in mind that there may be orders ahead of yours, orders are made and shipped in the order that they are placed. As much as I would like to get it out sooner, I am a one woman show. My main focus is on providing beautiful quality jewelry by giving it the time, attention and proper craftmanship that it takes to create a piece that will last a lifetime.

SHIPPING

Most pieces are handmade, please allow 5-10 business days before your order ships. Shipping time is based on the date the order is shipped. All orders are shipped through the USPS. International buyers are responsible for any customs fees.

 Domestic Orders- USPS First Class (2-5 day) delivery with tracking.

International Orders- USPS First Class International (2-6 weeks) delivery. Tracking not included. If an International order is sent back you have the option of having it reshipped with a shipping fee or refunded with a 15% restocking fee.

Orders are shipped to the shipping address provided at checkout. We are not responsible for packages lost in transit. If you would like to add additional services such as tracking or Priority shipping, please contact us via email at Orders@Afrohemien.com.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Exchanges are accepted on all items (except earrings) 7 days after receiving your item. Item must have not been worn, damaged, or altered and sent back in the original packaging with receipt of purchase.

Buyers are responsible for shipping charges, as we are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit, it’s recommended that delivery confirmation is added to any returned packages.

 All sale items and custom items are final sale.

PAYMENT

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discovery) transactions securely through Paypal. You will receive confirmation of your order through email. Taxes are applied to all Illinois orders.

JEWELRY CARE

I mainly use brass, gold filled, sterling silver, plated metals, as well as vintage chain and stones, please handle your jewelry with care.

 As with all metals, gold plated and silver plated metals will tarnish over time, these metals can be kept clean with a soft polishing cloth. Protect jewelry from abrasive surfaces and avoid contact with moisture, body sweat, lotions and perfumes. Brass metals will also tarnish naturally over time to a darker, warmer gold. You can choose to let it darken in color or restore it back to its natural color using a soft polishing cloth. For more difficult tarnishing you can use a fine steel wool pad to restore color.

 Store jewelry in the provided fabric bag for safe keeping.

REPAIR

I will repair items purchased through Afrohemien.com at no charge, up to 3 months after purchase, under all reasonable circumstances. Please contact us via email at:  Orders@Afrohemien.com for specific repair request. Customers are responsible for shipping, repaired items are shipped back to the customer, complimentary of Afrohemien.
